Membership terms
House of MVMT Ltd · Updated October 2026 (draft)
The short version: book in the app up to 14 days ahead, cancel more than 24 hours before if you can't make it, and tell your coach if anything changes with your health. The details are below.
Who can join
You need to be 16 or over. If you're 16 or 17, we email your parent or guardian a link to agree, and you can book once they have.
Booking and cancelling
Classes, 1:1s and open gym are booked in the app, up to 14 days ahead. Cancel more than 24 hours before and you get the class back. Later cancellations and no-shows use up the class.
No-shows: your first 3 get a reminder from us. After that, each no-show adds a £10 fee on top of losing the class.
If a class is full you can join the waitlist. If a spot opens we'll book you in automatically and email you. If that happens inside 24 hours, you can still cancel for free.
If we move a class you're booked on, we'll email you and you can cancel for free, even inside 24 hours. If we cancel a class, you get the class back.
S&C group classes need at least 3 people booked. If one's short 9 hours before, we cancel it and give everyone their class back.
Plans and payments
Monthly plans renew each month until you cancel. To cancel, give us 2 weeks' notice before your next renewal date. Weekly allowances reset every Monday and don't roll over. All prices include VAT.
You can pause a monthly plan for up to one month, twice a year. Just ask us or use the app.
If a payment fails, you can keep booking for 5 days while you sort it, and we'll remind you each day. After 5 days, booking is paused until the payment goes through.
Single classes, open gym sessions and packs are paid upfront and need to be used within 28 days. Intro packs (Pilates and S&C) are for people who haven't trained with us before.
If you think you've been charged wrongly, email hello@houseofmvmt.co.uk and we'll sort it.
In the studio
Arrive a few minutes early, wear grip socks on the reformers, follow your coach's instructions and look after the kit. Tell your coach before the session if you're injured, unwell or pregnant.
Open gym is unsupervised. Only use equipment and weights you're confident with and follow the rules on the wall.
We can suspend or end a membership if someone's behaviour puts other members or our coaches at risk.
Our responsibility
Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that can't be limited by law. You also have your normal rights under UK consumer law.
Changes
If we change these terms or our prices, we'll tell you in the app or by email at least 14 days before it affects you.
